Afterlife continues to expand. With Screamtime, the next project within our multisite network officially goes live. Screamtime is mainly dedicated to genre cinema: horror, thrillers, action and underground films - curated without compromise and free from watered-down mainstream filler. Instead of generic mass content, you will find classics, boundary-pushers and films that are not afraid to provoke. The new layout replaces the former narrow boxed design and introduces a more modern, atmospheric
Actually, I just wanted to integrate DOOM into a static page... but then everything started to escalate. First of all, the game station is not a big project, but more of a bit of fun for in between. The selection of games reflects this. Whether MS-DOS or classic consoles, almost anything is possible. For fans of retro games like myself, I have started a small club where we can continue to exchange ideas about the game station and games in general. And now let the Games begin ...
The latest and exclusive feature of this site is simply called Thoughts. Since IPS, in their infinite wisdom, abolished status updates, something new was needed to encourage a bit of interaction and gamification. Fun fact: Other sites have abolished their forums and rely entirely on status updates for communication among their members. Since it is to be expanded in the future to include a booking system and client downloads, a change of software was the obvious choice. WordPress is a truly excellent CMS, but it is not designed for managing complex group rights. Feel free to take a look; with you
v0rt3x.dev is where I offer the extensions I have coded and also provide support. It's not really worth hosting a separate forum for this, which is why I have hosted my stuff elsewhere in the past. For me, the concept of a multisite is ideal. My own domain is linked directly to my space here, I have a downloads module and a forum just for me, and I can use the blogs for whatever I want. I will also write a little bit about my long “journey” there. As for the downloads, after a long absence (I'l
What Is Afterlife.to Afterlife is a shared infrastructure for independent projects that were once isolated. Different domains - different audiences - different visual identities. Now connected under one account, one activity layer, one structural core. Each project keeps its spirit. The system gives them continuity. Why It Exists Fragmentation kills momentum. Communities disappear because they are disconnected. Content dies because it has no shared visibility. Projects fade because they stand al
