Actually, I just wanted to integrate DOOM into a static page... but then everything started to escalate. First of all, the game station is not a big project, but more of a bit of fun for in between. The selection of games reflects this. Whether MS-DOS or classic consoles, almost anything is possible. For fans of retro games like myself, I have started a small club where we can continue to exchange ideas about the game station and games in general. And now let the Games begin ...
The latest and exclusive feature of this site is simply called Thoughts. Since IPS, in their infinite wisdom, abolished status updates, something new was needed to encourage a bit of interaction and gamification. Fun fact: Other sites have abolished their forums and rely entirely on status updates for communication among their members. However, Thoughts are not necessarily like status updates that you post on your own wall and other users respond to there, but rather global and, not surprisingly
The blogs are essentially the information hub of this multisite; each project can use them site-wide for announcements, while the clubs are intended more for their own communities. Furthermore, some areas will also be freely available to selected user groups in the future. So check back from time to time to stay up to date!
